As a Medical Doctor (Plastic & Reconstructive surgery is her specialty), athlete and fitness promoter, Dr. Lilly has always been firmly focused on health. Combining this commitment to people’s well-being with an underlying passion for real estate, she found the world of development and investing intriguing in large part because of the biological and ecological challenges she consequently faced and effectively addressed.

Surprised by the building industry’s obsolete practices, such that actually caused harm to human health and the environmental landscape, Dr. Lilly started undertaking projects with the intent to impact the city and its people positively. The renowned Zoetica Center: www.zoetica.net — the nations’ first and still the only USDA Certified Organic health facility, built by USGBC LEED platinum standards—was truly a pioneering effort in terms of how buildings, and also the health care industry should function. Woxett Construction was established in order to disrupt the status quo; Dr. Lilly saw an urgent need to adopt wide spread sustainable practices, with their all-inclusive benefits not only to the environment, but most importantly, to people’s health.
Dr. Lilly currently serves as the Sustainability Committee Co-Chair for the Midwest Region of NAWIC (National Association of Women in Construction).
